BONE GRAFTING: Ridge Augmentation & Socket Preservation with Bone Grafting for Future Implant Placement

This two day course is designed to teach dentists the procedure of lateral ridge augmentation via guided bone regeneration. Bone healing patterns, grafting materials & membranes and indications & management of complications will be addressed in detail. Participants will attend didactic lectures on Saturday. Sunday’s session includes two interactive video presentations of surgeries by the course mentor(s) and hands-on surgery training, in simulation with animal mandibles. Participants will practice atraumatic extraction (with periotomes), socket preservation (with or without bone grafting), lateral ridge augmentation in single site cases with the use of bone substitutes and the appropriate suturing techniques.

This course is most beneficial for the beginner and intermediate implant dentist.
