Dentists

Dentists in Ohio must complete a specified number of continuing education credits to maintain their licensure, as mandated by the Ohio State Dental Board (OSDB).

• Credit Requirements: Dentists must complete 40 CE credits biennially (every two years).

  • At least 2 hours in opioid prescribing and abuse prevention if holding a DEA registration.
  • At least 2 hours in medical emergencies training.
